This photo represents our Mount Vernon alter egos. The photo on the right portrays my wife Daphne and I in our living history attire while attending Revolutionary War Weekend in 2017. The photo on the left portrays us visiting in March 2019 when we decided we needed some spring cheer. It's a place we visit to reconnect with the past in a way that gives meaning to the present and reconnect with the spirit of our founders. It lets us also enrich and share that passion and appreciation for history with other visitors. Mount Vernon is our "happy place"; in fact, we even got married there in 2011! Along with our alter egos, we look forward to visiting again when it is safe to reopen again soon. Bryan Keohane, 2019
