The picture is of my son. He just graduated from college and moved to Alexandria, Virginia and he loved it. I went to visit him and he suggested going to Mount Vernon. It's not really his thing but he's a good guy and said "let's go." He liked the upstairs of the house but he loved the basement tour and the different reenactments in the gardens. I forgot to pick up a copy of the guidebook because I bought another book in the gift shop. The next week he went back to Mount Vernon and bought the guidebook for me for Christmas that year.
