For years these two ladies who were in college together in later 1950’s and who taught fourth grade in Fairfax County from 1959-1963 have been meeting for lunch at the Mount Vernon Tea Room. They are now 83 year old widows and took two high school students for their last meeting In July 2017. There used to be three ladies. Out first apartment was just off Mt Vernon Parkway and it was the week-end rest for young teachers. Now it is walker accessible for old ladies. .This old history major from VA has enjoyed seeing where I can no longer go. Thank you. Patsy Ray,
