My daughter Addison and I are in the picture at Mount Vernon. Last summer we made the trip from N.C. to visit my proud military family at Ft Belvoir. As history buffs, we enjoyed every moment of our visit. The tomb was humbling and George Washington’s home was astounding. We look forward to our next visit. Meryl Davidson, 2019

I had the chance to visit from Cincinnati in October 2019 with a fabulous group of eighth graders and my teacher bestie, Jess. It was my first time back since my eighth grade trip in 2004! So glad we were able to come and hope to visit again soon. Melissa Partin, 2019

My wife and I visited Mount Vernon during our vacation to visit our Aunt and Uncle who live in Fairfax. Mount Vernon's Reference Librarian, Samantha Snyder, and I grew up in the same neighborhood together, and our families have remained in contact over the years. We all had a wonderful day with Samantha. Knowing how much of a Presidents fanatic I am, Samantha gave our family a personalized tour which included some very special moments. It's a trip that we will never forget and we are so grateful to Samantha and Mount Vernon for the experience! Dan Starck, 2018
